Denza B8: the three-row flagship SUV
The Denza B8 uses the same DMO plug-in hybrid idea in a larger, more luxurious package with six or seven seats. Denza N9 and D9: the models you may see but cannot buy officially
Denza N9
The N9 is a large six-seat SUV and, in the version launched in China, a plug-in hybrid. CarNewsChina reported a 2.0-litre turbo engine of 152 kW, three electric motors (200 kW at the front and two 240 kW motors at the rear), a 46.9 kWh Blade battery, 202 km of CLTC electric range, a combined CLTC range of 1,302 km and 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Denza D9
The D9 is a three-row luxury MPV offered with electric or plug-in hybrid powertrains, and it did much to turn Denza's fortunes around in China. It is not listed on the Denza Qatar website either.
Charging a Denza in Qatar
Charging works differently depending on the powertrain.
- B5 and B8: as plug-in hybrids they can be driven on petrol if the battery is empty, so you never depend on a charger. To get the most from their 90 km and 100 km electric ranges, though, plug in at home or work. Their 11 kW AC limit suits a wall box, and DC charging at up to 100 kW or 120 kW is available for quick top-ups.
- Z9 GT: as an electric car it relies on charging entirely. Its Flash Charging figures need compatible high-power chargers, so ask the dealer what charging equipment is supported in Qatar and plan around standard DC chargers for everyday use.

Denza Qatar says its cars come with comprehensive warranty protection but does not publish the years and kilometres on its website, so ask Mannai for the full terms in writing before you sign.

Servicing a B5 or B8 is not the same as servicing a pure EV.
